I'm afraid at that point I gave up, switched to kindle and flick read the last half. By the time this had repeated about four times I was only half way though the book. War captures Miriam she is horrified by his murderous ways tries to escape is re-captured easily and forgives him for killing an entire city because dang he's hot he murders another entire city so her conscious rears up and so she tried to escape again is caught again dang he's hot so she forgives him again. The basic storyline of this book repeats over and over again. The actual storyline is also almost identical - right down to the ending. However, the story and the characters in the two books are almost identical: Pestilence and War are almost interchangeable and the two female leads are so similar in character and speech that they may as well be the same.
I enjoyed the first book in the series (Pestilence) and eagerly bought this one.
